Frequently Asked Questions
What vaccines does my dog need to receive services?
All adult dogs must be current on the annual distemper/parvo vaccine.
Puppies must finish the COMPLETE set of distemper/parvo vaccines before they are able to receive services- depending on the veterinary clinic, your puppy should receive 3-4 vaccines total to comple the series.
Each dog must also be current on the Rabies vaccine as required by state law.
We do require the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine as well, if you participate in daycare services. Be aware that the vaccine does come in two forms and depending on the type of vaccine you select it will last either 6 months or 12 months.
However, as there are many different strains of Bordetella (much like the flu) the vaccine is NOT a guarantee that your pet will not contract kennel cough.
To receive services your dog/puppy must be
current on annual distemper/parvo vaccine- complete set of distemper/parvo for puppies
current on Rabies vaccine
current on Bordetella vaccine (for daycare services)

How Long will It Take To Groom My Dog?
Generally, it takes about 4 hours to get a dog all the way through the grooming process. Times will vary depending on the condition of the pet, the technical degree of the cut you select, and the behavior of the pet. Some dogs do require some special handling due to medical or behavioral issues.
We do call as soon as your pet is ready and you are welcome to pick up them up at your convenience up until closing at 5:00 p.m.
If you need to have your dog completed and ready for pick up by a specific time we do ask that you state the necessary pick up time when scheduling the appointment.
We do schedule accordingly and are happy to accomodate our client's needs, but we can only guarantee a time out if the appointment has been scheduled as such.
